Everything about this camp is magical, and the magic begins the moment we arrive on the jetty. A suspended cocoon in a private concession where only the sounds of nature lull us to sleep (and spark our curiosity) at night in our king‑size bed. The tent is truly spacious and decorated with great care. Nothing is missing. Everything has been thought out to make our stay MAGICAL. The highlight: an outdoor shower, incredibly simple and beautiful.

The dining room overlooks the pan. There, we enjoyed wonderfully prepared dishes. Being able to cook at such a level in the middle of the bush proves the chef’s talent. In the evening, a campfire welcomes us for an aperitif with Tonde, our guide, and Joël, the manager, for a warm and non‑intrusive debrief and cultural exchange. Our evenings around the fire add to the MAGIC of the place.

The staff is discreet yet efficient and attentive — taking exceptional care of us. We truly felt wrapped in a cocoon… They organized UNFORGETTABLE moments for us, which I’ll let you discover for yourselves.

Tonde, our amazing and passionate guide, and William, our protective ranger, offered us powerful moments filled with emotion and excitement during our safari outings.

I wanted to share some feedback about our stay at Nyamawani Pan in Mana pools last weekend. We want to tell you that we were absolutely delighted with our stay — it was magical. The setting is superb, the lodge is magnificent, and we were amazed by our tent — it was stunning, we loved it. The staff were also wonderful: very discreet, attentive, and caring. We really appreciated the fact that there weren’t many guests, which gave the experience a very unique feel. We also thought that Foster, the guide, was outstanding — he is truly passionate about his work. We saw extraordinary things during the safari, all the animals one could hope to see. We were very happy with the warm welcome, the comfort of the room, and the hospitality of the whole team — everything was simply sublime. Thank you so much, and it is clear that we will definitely book again for our future trips to Zimbabwe. Thank you very much.

Our stay at Shamashanga was beyond expectations. The camp and facilities were excellent, the boats were spotless, and the fishing was incredible. What made it truly special was the staff. From arrival to departure, we were cared for with warmth and professionalism. Dining felt like a 5-star restaurant thanks to Gabriel and his team, with Razor and Torai offering attentive yet discreet service. Albert was an outstanding guide, patient and knowledgeable, while Tondi’s energy and engagement made every moment enjoyable. The behind-the-scenes team kept everything immaculate without us even noticing. Shamashanga is paradise, we can’t wait to return.

Thanks to everyone at nyamawani camp, excellent service and brilliantly well run camp overall! What a fantastic experience, and an amazing chef Gabriel! Along with Farai and given working effortlessly in the background making sure we had constant flowing drinks and ensuring we were comfortable at all time!
The guide Richard, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than him, his knowledge from the smallest beetles and trees, to the largest mammal was nothing like I’ve seen before, was he absolutely brilliant! Thanks again to Nyanawani camp for an excellent few nights away!!!
