Green energy at Nyamawani Pan

Nyamawani Pan is focused on green energy. The camp is run solely on solar power with a diesel-powered generator for backup services. As the pan constantly needs water to be fed by numerous wells, it requires a high demand for electricity supply. The tents are equipped with gas geysers to ensure instant hot water for all guests, leaving a minimal footprint on the landscape.

    We spent 2 nights at Nyamawani Camp and what a lovely and relaxing experience. Watching the animals drink from the pan throughout the day, going for a day trip to Chitake and just the over all experience. We then went on to Shamashanga and it fantastic as always! Fishing wasn’t so great because of the wind but the incredible animal sighting and great staff made the trip.PS we saw... Read this review
