    Nyamwani Pan

A prime location to see the Big Five

Nyamwani Pan

Nyamawani Pan is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mana Pools National Park, sitting on just over 10,000 acres of land. Completed in 2022, Nyamawani Pan has taken over three years to build allowing a vast majority of wildlife to reestablish themselves on this once desolate stretch of wilderness.

At just over 15km from the converted Chitake Springs, wildlife moves between the spring and the pan making it a prime location for four of the big five. The increase in wildlife movement has seen predators, Lion and Leopard, establish themselves at Nyamawani Pan.

Nyamawani Pan has six tents all with a unique view of the waterpoint, designed to offer prime game viewing with utmost privacy. Each tent is connected via raised walkways allowing for game to move freely beneath them and not interfere with any animal movement. Set out in a spacious manner along raised walkways, makes the walk to the tents memorable while lit under vintage lanterns.
